Privacy

This page says what we collect, why, where it sits and whether it leaves us. We upload photos here, so please read the photo section in particular.

Your email address

Collected two ways: when you add yourself to the waiting list, and when you create an account. On an account it identifies your session and lets us reach you about your account. Never sold, never passed on, never added to a marketing list you didn't join.

What you put in your profile

Name, school, country, city and a profile picture — all optional, none required. They sit on your account only; your profile picture is stored in a private area and only you can see it. Your teacher sees your name and progress in the class list — not your school, your city or your picture.

The photos you upload

Two things happen to every photo you have read. First: to produce the analysis, the photo is sent to our AI provider (vision models running through OpenRouter) — so the photo does leave our server. Second: it is stored in a private area so it stays in your collection, and only you can see it. If you choose to share a discovery, that card opens to anyone with the link; you can unshare at any time, and no card is ever indexed by search engines. Delete a discovery and both the card and the file go.

What your teacher and school can see

If you join a class, your teacher sees your name, how many concepts you started, how many you took all the way, and when you were last seen. They do NOT see the photos you upload or your discovery cards — those stay closed. An institution administrator sees totals only, not individual students.

Payment

Your card details never reach us: payment runs through Paddle and they handle the card data. We keep only the transaction id and what you bought — which plan, and when.

Cookies

No advertising cookies and nothing that follows you across sites. The cookies we use are the ones the product needs to work: the one that keeps you signed in, and — if you arrived through an invitation link — one that carries who invited you through to sign-up. The second one expires by itself after 30 days.

Usage measurement

We count which pages open and whether people switch between layers — that's how we learn if the product makes sense. This runs on the cookieless counter built into our hosting platform (Vercel): it collects no personal data, doesn't follow you across sites, and leaves no identifier on your device. Only aggregate numbers reach us; we cannot identify you as a person.

Server logs

When something fails, we record what happened on our own server: which step broke, what the error code was, how long it took. These records contain no field that says who you are — no user id, no email, no IP address, no browser fingerprint. Your photo and the model's text don't go into them either. The purpose is one thing: seeing what broke so we can fix it. Records are deleted after 90 days.

Deletion and access

You can delete discoveries yourself, one by one. If you want the whole account gone — profile, photos and records with it — one message is enough. Same address if you want to ask what we hold.
